Conditions for Staying
There are several conditions that your feline friend(s) need(s) to meet to be able to stay in our cat boarding facility. These conditions are in place to protect all guests and keep everyone healthy and happy, so we kindly ask you to follow below rules responsibly.

Age
At Cat Vibes, we welcome all feline guests who are older than 4 months. Whether your cat is a playful kitten or a mature companion, we ensure they receive the best care and attention during their stay.

Microchip
For the safety and security of all our guests, we require that all cats are microchipped. This ensures we can easily identify and care for each cat during their stay at our hotel.

Health
We only accept cats that are healthy and do not show any signs of sickness*. If we observe any signs of illness, we may have to refuse check-in to foremost alert you of any potential risk to your cat, as well as to protect the wellbeing of our other guests.

Castration / Sterilization
We accept cats that are castrated or sterilized if they are older than 5 months. This policy is in place to help reduce territorial behaviour, minimize the risk of aggressive interactions among our feline guests and support odor-free environment.

Vaccinations
To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, all cats must be vaccinated to stay at Cat Vibes. The two mandatory vaccinations** are for feline influenza and feline panleukopenia. The most recent vaccination should not be older than 1 year, otherwise the cat will not be accepted. Please read more information in the footnote for detailed vaccination requirements.

Parasite Prevention
For the health and safety of all cats in our care, all cats must be treated against fleas and ticks before arrival. Cats staying in Solo Suites are required to have preventive worm treatment, as cats may share litter facilities during supervised playtime in the playroom. Owners are required to inform us when the last parasite treatment was applied and which product was used***.
Footnotes*
* If your cat has a condition that is not contagious and does not require injections, we are happy to discuss the possibility of their stay. Please get in touch with us, and we will review your cat’s specific case to ensure they can enjoy a comfortable and safe visit at Cat Vibes.
** Mandatory vaccinations:

Against bordetella bronchiseptica (nasal drop vaccination) – provides extra protection of the upper respiratory tract and is recommended but not mandatory.
Validity of vaccinations:
Feline influenza: not later than 3 weeks prior to the stay and not older than 11-12 months on the day your cat returns home.

*** If a cat arrives without adequate parasite prevention, or if parasites are detected at any time during the stay, we reserve the right to administer appropriate treatment at the owner’s expense. If the information about recent treatment is unknown or cannot be confirmed, we will consider the treatment not up to date and will administer appropriate preventive treatment upon arrival.
More information on parasite treatment can be found in Terms & Conditions.
What to Take With You

Vaccination book
Please remember to bring your cat’s vaccination book. It should include records of all necessary vaccinations, which we will verify upon arrival. This helps ensure the health and safety of all our guests. Having up-to-date vaccination records allows us to provide a secure and comfortable environment for your cat and all other guests staying with us.

Cat Carrier
We ask to bring your cat’s carrier with you and leave it at the hotel. This way your cat gets additional sleeping or hiding place in their room, providing familiarity and comfort. But more importantly, we can have a carrier available in case we urgently need to bring your cat to the vet.

Personal items
(Optional) We provide all the essentials to ensure your cat feels at home during their stay. However, we also encourage you to bring your cat’s favorite items, such as a beloved mat, toy, or even your hoodie where they like to chill. These familiar belongings can help your cat feel more secure and comfortable in their temporary home away from home.
